My personal morning routine, the one that works best for me is to wake up before 6:00 AM and wash my face and legs, so that my mind calms downs and have a glass of water to hydrate and sit down to journal for 30 mins, read any book for 30 mins.
And hit the gym in my apartment and workout for 30 mins while listening to my favorite music.
Some people have well defined mornings while others go with the flow of the environment.
Its always a choice. Everyday its a choice between whether to take control or lose control to the environment. Its a choice to select between meditating first thing in the morning or to check social media. Its a choice to select between exercising in the morning or to have a sugary donut.
If we take control and succumb to a morning routine of self-development and prosperity, we will go through the day with more self-control, confidence, integrity, upbeat mood, peace, calmness and a clear mind.
And if we let the environment to the control the sacred early hours of our day, then our mind gets into a fuss, unable to take clear decisions, sleep walking and having a low mood.
Having a routine can make us feel more organized and decluttered.

Routines need not be filled with zen like and unjoyful habits. In fact, after reading about lots of super-producers and personal experience, I have realized that routines are blissful after the initial stages of discomforts.
