A List Of Not To Say Words
We know the power of positive affirmations.
When we repeat positive things about ourselves and what we want to achieve as if we have already attained it over and over again, the idea of us being more than what we are now gets ingrained in our subconscious.
The ‘Iron Law of Success’ states that in order to have something that we have not had before, we should be the person who is able to achieve it. If we want to be rich and wealthy we should be the person who is able to make money and grow it. We can’t grow rich by being a person who spends all of his income. If we want to be fit and have six packs, we want to be the person who strives and takes action to get fit.
And positive affirmations sets our identity as a person who is able to achieve what he wants. It sets our identity in our subconscious as a person who is financially sound and wealthy and as a person who is hard working, who is in control of his diet and exercise routine. Which enables us to think and act as a professional financial manager and a professional athlete in this case.
Coming to the point, as how the positive affirmations impact our subconscious mind, even negative thoughts and words we say impact our subconscious minds, but negatively.
- “You are doing cool ‘sh*t’”
- The way to enlighten is to not give a ‘f*ck’
- You are ‘killing’ it
- My sneakers are ‘sick’
Once when I was talking to a very successful sales person and who is one of my mentors, I said to him “I hate how our schools work”. Suddenly he kept a hand on his face with disappointment and asked “Do you know the power of that word?”
Yes. Words mean what words say.
Even if you are using negative words to positively exclaim at something its negative. You become what you think and talk of most of the time.
So maintain a list of not to say words so that you won’t get influenced negatively.
